While the air fryer is heating up, remove the marinated chops from the refrigerator, allowing them to come to room temperature. Preheat the air fryer to 400☏ (200☌) for about 5 minutes. Popular marinades include soy sauce with garlic and ginger, lemon and herb, or even a spicy barbecue blend. If desired, tenderize and infuse extra flavors by marinating the pork chops for at least 30 minutes, or overnight in the refrigerator. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste, ensuring you cover all exposed surfaces. Step 2: Seasoning and Marinatingīrush a light coating of olive oil on both sides of the pork chop. Be careful not to cut all the way through. Open up the chop like a book, exposing the center. Using a sharp knife, horizontally cut through the thickest part of the chop, stopping about 1/2 inch from the opposite edge. Lay the pork chop flat on the cutting board.
